When it comes to brewing beer hygiene is everything. You need to have a situation that is clean and without any bacterial invasion. An unclean surface will destroy anything that may or may not compromise the health of your brew. It’s sorta like surgery a doctor needs to keep his apparatus clean as does a brewer.
One of the best ways to keep your station clean is by using a high quality antibacterial wash after each and every brew. Now this might seem bit tedious but trust me it’s the easiest way to do it. Otherwise you are stuck with a multiple of other issues that might come up.
On the flip side if you want a clean setup for your brewing than I definitely recommend getting a good burner. By buying the best propane burner available you’re going to be getting a lot more bang for your buck. A good burner will last a lifetime and will allow you to brew a lot of beers.
Now if you want to get a burner that will work really well than I suggest using something like a camping burner. A camping burner works on the same principle as a stove top. It is a small element that can be light up and kept on fire for as long as you need it to work. This is one of the best ways to take care of a burner and make sure it works properly.
I can’t recommend what burner is the best for you but I can definitely say that I’ve tried to use this ones below and they don’t work as well as some other choices. Make sure you don’t get one that is too big or too small. The smaller you’re burner the better quality it will work and the more you can potentially brew at home.
So don’t be cheap!
